Easter Dresses

Time to get started on this years Easter dresses. I’m hoping that I have enough fabric from last year’s bridal party remnants to make at least one dress out of the pattern with the jacket. I stumbled over a tutorial on how to make fabric flowers and I’d really like to use them as an accessory on the jacket (and in each girl’s hair).

If the fabric is too sparse, I guess I could just tack the flowers to the dress. If that is the case…then really, I could use any pattern. I suspect the final decision however will be up to the fabric because although I would love to take a trip to the store to get exactly what I want...

I’m really trying to use up what I already have.
(And, to be honest, sometimes I like not having to make the decision.)

I may not be good at puzzles but I love the challenge. Somehow I was able to get both dresses cut. One of them will get a jacket.

I have a sewing question for you. When you are making clothing do you use a serger or a regular sewing machine? Also, have you thought doing a sewing class once a week? I would come to it in a heart beat!

I don't own a serger....someday. Someday. :) I've thought about sewing lessons I just don't if people would be willing to pay the price to make it worth it for me. :)

What would you charge? Just curious.
