Camera Envy

pet peeve of mine (there are many) is when someone has an amazing camera and no pictures to show for it! Why does this bother me? Because I’m jealous that’s why. I want to be taking horrible pictures with a super sweet camera. I would then at least have a chance of stumbling over the correct settings and thus creating an accidental masterpiece like this….
…Until then, I’m going to continue being annoyed by mediocre pictures taken with fancy cameras and hope for the day that you can be annoyed with me for the same, shallow, reason.

Stopping by from SITS - your post made me smile - thanks! I agree--- I fail to understand why people buy such expensive cameras only to let them molder in the back of a cabinet somewhere with no batteries! Hope you get your "super sweet" camera soon!

Hey, maybe the lottery commission will be calling ;-) Thanks for stopping by Life: Forward... you're right - being Queen of the Castle is a mantle not to be given up lightly! (and have you seen the way most straight men decorate!!?!)

Shayna...yes, I'm married to one! :)

Jamie, maybe if we do the studying, the camera will come. That way at least when we get our camera's no one will be able to accuse us of taking horrible pictures, because we will already be experts.

I'm waiting for Baby. Then I'll post more pictures:) I promise they will be horrible to mediocre as I am still studying and overly critical of the pictures I take.

That is a great picture of her! Can I ask who the photographer was?

who was there photographer? I wouldn't recommend them. This photo was one of their "accidental masterpieces" (they had a few) but on a whole, although they got some "cool shots" I didn't think that they captured the wedding day very. But you'd have to ask the bride to be sure, she might feel differently.
