Cycling

Sun is out…check!
Roads are dry…check!
Tires are pumped…check!
Chains are oiled…check!

LET’S RIDE!

Once the sun started shining I found my previously lost motivation. Apparently it was hiding under the winter grays. Now that I’ve found it, I have lots of plans…

…Boy and I, along with our little cycling gang, hope to frequent many local(ish) bike trails this spring and summer. Perhaps we’ll open the invitation for others to join us but first we have to work out the kinks. Ya see, I’m ok yelling at my kids to “KEEP PEDALING”, “LOOK UP” and “STOP!” in front of total strangers, but I think I might be ashamed or embarrassed if I have to do that in front of friends. J

Oh and as a reminder to all you gas powered vehicle users out there….
CYCLISTS ARE ENTITLED TO EVERY INCH OF THE ROAD THAT YOU ARE
SO DON’T SQUEEZE ME OFF THE ROAD INTO A DITCH OR
I’LL SUE YOU FOR RECKLESS ENDAGERMENT!
Have a nice day!
J

I love the video of girl #1 pulling girl #2. We may have to use that.

We better be invited! My kids have been out every day this week riding their bikes. The 2 older ones want to go on the Bike trip to the temple this summer too. So, we better start training! I've been trying to figure out where to go. You'll have to share some good spots to ride.

Let me know where some good trails are. I go riding daily with my kids and our trails are starting to get a bit old. The train was awesome.

I haven't found any that we can get to on our bikes....what I've found, we have to drive to.

Hi, Gwen! I'm from Indonesia, and it's fun to read how you try to teach your kids for biking. I'm amazed to see that you put helmets to your kids. In my place, kids don't get used to put on helmets while they're biking. I guess you aware about the safety of your kids' head, don't you?

Say hello to your kids, may they enjoy their cycling. Ciao! ;-)
